Pitt vs. Notre Dame Game Time Announced

PITTSBURGH — After Pitt football resets during its second bye week of the season, the Panthers will face a significant test in the currently 10th-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Nov. 15.
The non-conference clash at Acrisure Stadium will kick off at noon on either ABC or ESPN, the ACC announced Monday morning. Television designation will be announced after the completion of games on Nov. 8.
It will mark the 74th all-time meeting between the two historic programs. Notre Dame holds a 21-51-1 record in the series and has won the last four meetings. In 2023, Notre Dame blew out Pitt 58-7, while in 2020 the Fighting Irish defeated the Panthers 45-3.
The last time Pitt beat Notre Dame came in 2013 with a 28-21 victory over the 24th-ranked Fighting Irish. Pitt quarterback Tom Savage threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns, while Tyler Boyd posted 85 receiving yards and Devin Street added 76 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Safety Ray Vinopal added two crucial interceptions.
Pitt will rest and reset during its well-placed November bye week before Notre Dame comes to town. The Panthers are 7-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play after they defeated Stanford 35-20 on the road.
After two losses to start the season against Miami and Texas A&M, Notre Dame has won six in a row, including this past weekend’s 25-10 victory over Boston College.
Notre Dame will take on Navy this week at 7 p.m.
