Postgame Reaction: Pitt Players Talk Syracuse Road Win

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Pitt Panthers moved to 3-1 in the ACC with a sloppy victory over the Syracuse Orange, 30-13.
Quarterback Mason Heintschel opened the scoring with a 36-yard run, but failed to find the end zone for the remainder of the game as he tossed for 143 yards and an interception.
Following the win, he talked about working through offensive penalties and facing adversity with seven sacks.
On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Nick Lapi made his first start with Rasheem Biles missing the game with an injury. He discussed his play and the defense’s ability to slow the Syracuse run game.
