Four Michigan State 2026 commits included in Rivals300

On3 and Rivals released its initial class of 2026 Rivals300 rankings on Monday, and four current Michigan State commits made the cut.
The Spartans have a wide receiver pledge, two offensive line commits (including one prospect who is seeing a massive rise) and their quarterback of the future all included on the list.
Spartans Illustrated breaks it all down below.
Four-star wide receiver Tyren Wortham, No. 112 (previously No. 287)
The highest-rated Spartan on the list is four-star wide receiver Tyren Wortham out of Booker High School in Sarasota, Florida. Wortham checks into the new Rivals300 as the No. 112 prospect overall in the 2026 class and is now given a rating of 92 (previously 90). Wortham makes a big jump here, moving up 175 spots from his previous ranking of No. 287.
Following the update, Wortham now ranks as Rivals’ No. 12 prospect in the talented state of Florida and No. 15 wide receiver in the 2026 cycle. Additionally, Wortham is now ranked as the No. 247 overall prospect, No. 43 wideout and No. 35 player in the Sunshine State in the Rivals Industry rankings (which is “a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all three primary recruiting media services”).
Wortham committed to Michigan State on June 22 following an official visit to East Lansing, as the Spartans were able to flip his pledge from Central Florida. Wortham also took official visits to UCF, Georgia and Kansas State, and received well over 20 scholarship offers in total throughout his recruitment.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Wortham earned MVP honors at the Under Armour Next Camp in Orlando in February. As a junior for Booker in 2024, he recorded 67 catches for 1,360 yards (20.3 yards per catch) and 17 touchdowns.
Wortham — an electric playmaker with the ball in hands with impressive acceleration and the ability to work in all three levels of the field — joins three-star speedster wide receivers Zachary Washington and Samson Gash in MSU’s 2026 class.
Four-star offensive tackle Collin Campbell, No. 187 (previously No. 183)
Michigan State had a big win on the recruiting trail when it landed a verbal commitment from four-star Arizona offensive tackle Collin Campbell. The Williams Field High School standout pledged to the Spartans on June 12, following official visits to MSU and Utah. He also had Washington as a finalist, but did not end up taking an official visit to Seattle.
He now sits as No. 187 overall in the Rivals300 release and is rated as a 90. His rating of 90 stays the same, although Campbell slightly moves down by four spots compared to his previous ranking (No. 183), but he remains one of the top offensive tackles and top overall prospects in the 2026 class.
According to Rivals’ own rankings, Campbell is the No. 1 prospect in the state of Arizona and the No. 17 offensive tackle in the 2026 class. In the Rivals Industry rankings, Campbell comes in at No. 335 nationally and is ranked as the No. 4 player in Arizona and the No. 29 offensive tackle.
“I chose Michigan State because it just felt right,” Campbell previously told Spartans Illustrated about his commitment to MSU. “Everyone always says you’ll just have a feeling and I just knew. Seeing the town and how it revolves around the school really just helped me make my decision. I always wanted to play football in a town that revolves around the school.”
The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Campbell has a 6-foot-10-inch wingspan. As a junior in 2024, Campbell was a first-team All-Region selection. He also excels academically, carrying a 4.67 grade point average, and earning All-Academic team honors.
Four-star offensive lineman Eli Bickel, No. 243 (previously unranked)
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the group, newly-minted four-star interior offensive lineman Eli Bickel makes a major move and debuts in the Rivals300. He now is ranked as the No. 243 prospect nationally, and has a rating of a 90. For much of his recruitment, Bickel flew under the radar.
Prior to this update, Bickel was rated an 88-three-star interior offensive line prospect by On3 and was previously a 5.5-rated three-star offensive tackle by Rivals, prior to the merger with On3. In the Rivals Industry rankings, Bickel was previously ranked at No. 1,099 overall and as the No. 108 interior offensive lineman in the country.
Now, Bickel is ranked as the 15th interior offensive lineman in the country and the third prospect in the state of Michigan. His Rivals Industry ranking also moves up considerably, as he is now slotted as the No. 678 recruit overall, the No. 65 interior offensive lineman and the No. 15 prospect in Michigan.
While Bickel’s ascension into the Rivals300 was not anticipated by many, it is well-deserved. His size and athleticism are things that stand out. Bickel is a well-rounded athlete, as he also wrestles, plays basketball and competes in track and field for North Branch High School. Michigan State likes his flexibility as both a tackle and a guard once he gets to campus.
Following his official visit with Michigan State during the weekend of June 13 through June 15, Bickel’s bond with the MSU players and coaches was cemented even further.
“This (official) visit was awesome,” Bickel told Spartans Illustrated in June. “The reason I committed in the first place was the people, and that’s what I saw again this weekend. Whether it was the players or the coaches, no matter who I talked with, they all reinforced the ideas of why I called this my home.”
Bickel has been committed to the Spartans since February, despite additional offers from Cincinnati, Northwestern and others.
Four-star quarterback Kayd Coffman, No. 286 (previously No. 189)
While Bickel’s massive move was a surprise, Coffman was likely a candidate for the list after a strong offseason of dazzling coaches and media members alike and winning MVP awards while competing at various camps and events throughout the spring.
The 90-rated Coffman now checks in at No. 286 nationally in the Rivals300. The surprise here, though, is that the four-star signal-caller has actually slipped a bit from his previous ranking of No. 189 from On3, but he remains one of the top quarterbacks (No. 19 nationally) and best prospects overall in the 2026 cycle. He also now ranks as the No. 6 recruit in the state of Michigan.
In the Rivals Industry rankings, Coffman is listed as the No. 291 prospect overall, the No. 23 quarterback and the No. 5 recruit in the Great Lakes State.
Rankings and ratings are not really something that Coffman pays much attention to, though.
“It’s cool (to be a four-star prospect), but I’m not a guy that looks for outside validation,” Coffman previously told Spartans Illustrated. “I’m not living and dying by what people say about me. Just finally some people are opening their eyes a little bit.”
Ohio State has not offered Coffman yet, but has shown a lot of interest in the East Kentwood High School (Kentwood, Michigan) standout, as the Buckeyes watched Coffman at different events, came to his school to watch him throw, and brought him in for a visit to Ohio State’s campus while he was in town prior to the Under Armour Next camp on April 27.
Coffman has additional offers from Colorado, Cincinnati, Duke, Iowa State, Mississippi, Syracuse and others, but he is locked in with Michigan State.
“I sleep pretty good at night (knowing I am committed to MSU),” Coffman told Spartans Illustrated in late June. “… The people, the people, the people … it’s what draws me (to MSU). The relationships (are) what I constantly think of and it’s what draws me there even more now that I’ve spent more time there.”
Michigan State’s 2026 class currently class includes 22 scholarship commitments and ranks 35th nationally.
Wortham, Campbell, Bickel and Coffman join three-star EDGE Chris Addison, three-star EDGE Cory House Jr., three-star defensive end/EDGE Fameitau Siale, three-star defensive tackle Christopher Knauls Jr., three-star offensive tackle Quinn Buckey, three-star offensive tackle Tristan Comer, three-star tight end Eddie Whiting, three-star tight end Joey Caudill, three-star wide receiver Zachary Washington, three-star wide receiver Samson Gash, three-star safety Brayden Thomas, three-star safety Jordan Vann, three-star safety Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy, three-star cornerback TJ Umenyiora, three-star cornerback Kelsey Deriso, three-star cornerback Jeremiah Favorite, three-star linebacker Braylon Hodge and three-star linebacker Adam Shaw.
Additionally, Michigan State has a commitment from class of 2026 preferred walk-on athlete Jack Lansing III.
