2025 American Conference Preseason Media Poll

The American Conference did not publish an official preseason media poll this year so we at TigerSportsReport contacted other media members across the country who cover the conference to participate in a unofficial poll by the American Conference media members.
13 media members participated in this year’s poll.
The Tulane Green Wave, who were the conference runner-ups last season, were picked as the favorites to win the conference in 2025. They received 7 of a possible 13 first-place votes to finish with 177 points in the poll. Memphis was picked to finish 2nd with 172 points. The Tigers, who finished the 2024 season with a 11-2 record, picked up 3 first-place votes.
Navy, UTSA, and USF all received 1 first-place vote to round out the top 5.
