Memphis gets commitment from Nevada transfer Cortez Braham

Coming into the 2025 fall camp, wide receiver was one area of concern. The Tigers got great news as Nevada transfer wide receiver Cortez Braham committed to Memphis per Pete Nakos from On3.
Cortez Braham did eventually post on social media about his commitment.
Last season for Nevada, Braham had 56 receptions for 724 yards and four touchdowns. He instantly becomes the Tigers most experienced wide receiver.
WILL HE PLAY THOUGH?
Last year was his last year of eligibility but he filed a lawsuit against the NCAA to play this season. A judge did grant Braham a temporary restraining order. That does clear the way for him to play this season unless the NCAA appeals the decision. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Braham played with quarterback Branden Lewis last season in Nevada. That connection could be a valuable asset for the Memphis offense this season.
