On the eve of UCF preseason football camp, UCFSports.com stopped by campus for an updated look at construction of ongoing facility projects.

Exterior work surrounding the existing Roth Tower is well underway. The original facility will remain operational throughout the 2025 season, with construction expected to ramp up following the final home game. The renovated tower is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2026 opener.

The Hagle Gateway is beginning to take shape, with a new concrete walkway and adjoining landscaping now in place.

The E3 parking lot, located in front of the future Taylor Gerring Football Center, recently opened to the public.

At the Wayne Densch Sports Center, which currently houses UCF’s football offices, weight room, and training areas, finishing touches are being applied. These include a new parking lot, cul-de-sac, and an additional parking lot on the west side of the building.

UCF opens the 2025 season on Thursday, Aug. 28 at home vs. Jacksonville State.
