Three-Star RB Jayden Fox decommits from UConn Football

Cherry Creek (Colorado) three-star running back Jayden Fox has decommitted from UConn Football and will reopen his recruitment, he announced on Friday afternoon.
He was pledged to the Huskies since June 1st following an Official Visit to campus, where he chose UConn Football over the likes of offers from Arkansas State, California, Charlotte, Louisiana Tech, Portland State, and San Diego State.
“After much prayer and thought, I’ve decided to decommit from the University of Connecticut and reopen my recruitment. Grateful to UConn coaching and the UConn staff for believing in me. Excited for what’s next,” Fox wrote on X announcing his decision.

With the news, Fox becomes the third prospect to decommit from UConn Football this recruiting cycle joining edge rusher Jacquey Ferguson Jr. and cornerback Javion Romer, both of which remain uncommitted at this time.
The Huskies recruiting class is now down to 14 total commits and is currently ranked No. 84 in the country for the 2026 recruiting cycle per the Rivals Industry rankings.
