For the first time since taking over, UConn Football Head Coach Jason Candle has added his first recruit as 2026 recruiting class, as quarterback recruit Bo Polston announced his decision via Twitter/X.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback prospect hails from Indiana, where he played his high school ball for Decatur Central High School and originally chose to commit to Toledo back in May 2024 over several notable offers. However after coach Candle took the UConn job, Polston decided to decommit from the program and a few days after that, he decided he would follow Candle and join the Huskies 2026 recruiting class.
