UConn Football CB Cam Chadwick set to enter Transfer Portal
UConn Football has taken another Transfer Portal hit ahead of the upcoming offseason, as defensive back Cam Chadwick will enter the portal after four seasons with the team per On3’s Pete Nakos.
The 6-foot, 185-pound cornerback hails from Plainfield, New Jersey and played for Immaculata High School before signing with UConn.

As a recruit, Chadwick was ranked the No. 141 overall cornerback prospect and the No. 23 ranked prospect in the state of New Jersey for the 2023 class.
Chadwick appeared in four games while redshirting during his freshmen season in 2023, and went on to become the full time starter at cornerback for the next two seasons. Overall, Chadwick has appeared in 28 total games and had posted a total of 100 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, 10 passes defended, and six interceptions.
This past season was his best year to date, as he posted a 76.9 overall defensive grade to go along with 77.7 coverage grade. He’s been targeted 59 times, while allowing just 38 receptions for 534yds and four touchdowns on the season.
Chadwick will have two years of eligibility remaining to play elsewhere.
