UConn Football RB MJ Flowers set to enter Transfer Portal
UConn Football has taken another Transfer Portal hit ahead of the upcoming offseason, as running back MJ Flowers becomes the latest player to announce his plans to leave, sources tell On3’s Pete Nakos.
The 6-foot-1, 193-pound running back hails from Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Colerain High School before committing and signing on with Eastern Illinois.

Over three seasons with the Panthers, Flowers appeared in 27 total games and ran for 1837 yards and 15 touchdowns on 402 carries. In his lone year with the Huskies, Flowers appeared in seven games and rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries.
Flowers will have one of eligibility remaining to play elsewhere.
