UConn Football Preview: Boston College Eagles Edition

UConn Football is on the road as they don’t have to travel far to take on the Boston College Eagles this Saturday afternoon. The Huskies are coming off a bye week after posting a 4-2 record with a recent 51-10 win over the FIU Panthers. 

On the flip side, the Eagles will host the Huskies following a recent loss at home to the Clemson Tigers. Boston College got routed by Clemson 41-10 and still only have one win this season, after losing their last five games and are 0-5 against FBS programs this season.

Bill O’Brien returned to the college football world after spending seven seasons as the head coach for the Houston Texans. After his NFL head coaching gig, O’Brien was Alabama’s offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for two seasons. O’Brien went back to the NFL as the New England Patriots’ offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for the 2023 season. Bill O’Brien was originally hired to the next OC at Ohio State but quickly bolted for Boston College even offered the head coaching job.
