UConn Football RB Victor Rosa set to enter Transfer Portal
UConn Football has taken their first Transfer Portal hit ahead of the upcoming offseason, as running back Victor Rosa will enter the portal after four seasons with the team per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back hails from Bristol, Connecticut and played for Bristol Central High School before signing with UConn. Rosa committed to UConn in July 2021, becoming the 14th commit of the class for the Huskies.

As a recruit, Rosa went on to appear in 40 games over four seasons and rushed 296 times for 1,405 yards (4.7 YPC) and 17 total touchdowns. The bulk of the yardage and the carries comes from his true freshman season in 2022, where he had 636 yards and 11 scores. He also was sued as a pass catcher out of the backfield, hauling in 34 receptions for 247 yards and one touchdown.
Thanks to a redshirt year used in 2024, Rosa will now enter the Transfer Portal this January with one year of eligibility remaining.
