UConn Football WR commit Quayd Hendryx transfers high schools

UConn Football’s lone wide receiver commitment in the 2026 class, Quayd Hendryx is on the move, as he will go be transferring to Winslow Township High School (NJ) for his senior year.
Hendryx spend three years at Burlington Township, as a three sport athlete playing football, basketball and even running track for the Falcons. But for his senior year, he will join South Jersey powerhouse program Winslow Township.

This past Fall as a junior, Hendryx put up some strong numbers playing wide receiver, kick returner, punt returner along with being the team’s kicker and punter too.
Hendryx finished the 2024 season going 1-of-1 passing for 38 yards and hauled in 34 receptions for 550 yards and four touchdowns. The South Jersey native also returned four kicks for 124 yards and one touchdown, along with 14 punts for 112 yards total. As a place kicker, he went 18-of-23 on extra point attempts.
After a successful Fall, Hendryx was able to add upwards of 15 total scholarship offers from programs all across the country such as Buffalo, Delaware, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, Syracuse and various others. However in the end, he chose to commit to UConn back on July 4th.
With this move, Hendryx will be now be joining the No. 7 ranked team in the state per the Massey Ratings and they have quite the schedule this season, starting off with a game against No. 15 nationally ranked IMG Academy late next month.
