Between the Bets: Three wagers for Georgia-Auburn

With Georgia and Auburn one day away from kicking off, here are three wagers for the game.
Gunner Stockton O1.5 passing touchdowns +113
The value here is too much to pass considering Georgia’s balanced passing attack and Auburn’s suspect pass defense. While Stockton has thrown for only two touchdowns or more in two games this season, there have been numerous opportunities. Auburn is 12th in the SEC at passing yards allowed (227.6) so Stockton should be able to move the ball through the air. The Tigers are stingier on the ground, holding teams to an average of 88 rushing yards allowed. The Bulldogs will commit to the run Saturday, but they will likely see some scoring opportunities through the air.
Zachariah Branch O44.5 receiving yards -123
We’re running this one back even after it didn’t hit last week. If Saturday’s game script goes as predicted, Branch should have plenty of chances in the passing game. In recent weeks, receivers with similar body types have had big days against Auburn. Texas A&M’s KC Concepcion totaled seven catches and 113 yards and Oklahoma’s Isaiah Sategna III caught nine passes for 127 yards and a touchdown against the Tigers. Branch was bottled up after each of his four catches last week. This time around it should be a different story.
Jackson Arnold O174.5 passing yards -130
Arnold has only touched 200 yards twice in five games. However, take a look at Georgia’s secondary. It just allowed Kentucky’s Cutter Boley to throw for 225 yards and two touchdowns, albeit with one interception. Georgia’s opponents are attempting passes on 53 percent of their plays, and Auburn is likely to do the same. Arnold should see plenty of chances to sail past this number.
Last week
We had our first losing week as Branch was held to four catches for 18 yards and Boley, as mentioned, went well over 155.5 yards. Stockton flew past 25.5 rushing yards, which was our only win.
Season to date: 5-4
