2 – Two true freshmen (Juan Gaston and Ethan Barbour) started against Marshall. The Bulldogs have now started 13 true freshmen in season openers under Kirby Smart.

2 – Gabe Harris tied his career high with two tackles for loss. He also had two last season against UMass.

2 – Gunner Stockton had two touchdown runs and two touchdown passes against Marshall. He is just the third different quarterback to have two scores in both rushing and passing in the 2000s. Aaron Murray did it three times, and Stetson Bennett did it in the 2023 National Championship game against TCU.

3-for-3 – Georgia was 6-for-16 on third down conversions, but a perfect 3-for-3 on fourth downs.

3-for-15 – Marshall was successful on third down conversions just three of 15 times, going 0-for-10 in the first three quarters.

5/8/59/1 – Ryan Puglisi saw his first action for the Bulldogs. He ended with a stat line of five completions in eight attempts for 59 yards and a touchdown.

6’7” – True freshman Elyiss Williams caught a touchdown early in the fourth quarter for the Bulldogs. It was the first career reception for the 6-foot, 7-inch tight end.

7 – Transfer Zion Branch and Raylen Wilson led all Dawg defenders with seven tackles apiece.

8 – KJ Bolden blocked a punt on Saturday. It was the first blocked punt for Georgia since Joenel Aguero had one against Florida in 2023. It was also the eighth one for the Bulldogs in the Smart era.

12 – The Dawgs have now won 12 straight season-openers and all ten under Smart.

12 – Twelve different Bulldogs had at least one reception on Saturday. Zachariah Branch and London Humphreys led Georgia with three each.

27 – In terms of first downs, the Bulldogs had 27 compared to the Thundering Herd, which had seven.

28% – The Bulldogs have allowed seven or fewer points in 35 of 125 games under Smart or 28%.

32 – Georgia increases the longest active FBS streak by winning its 32nd consecutive home game.

36.2 to 7.3 – In ten season openers under Smart, Georgia has averaged 36.2 points per game compared to allowing just 7.3.

43 – Peyton Woodring kicked a 43-yard field goal, and now has 43 total field goals in his career.

50+ – Drew Miller punted the ball for the Bulldogs in place of the injured Brett Thorson. Miller averaged 48 yards on those kicks as three of his six punts went for 50 or more yards.

60 – Dwight Phillips, Jr had a career-high 60 yards rushing. He had 33 total rushing yards last year. He also scored his second career touchdown.

73 – Stockton rushed for a career-high and game-leading 73 yards. It was the most rushing yards in a game by a Georgia quarterback since Justin Fields had 100 in a game against UMass in 2018.

95 – Transfer Zachariah Branch led all Georgia players with 95 yards receiving. It was his third-highest total of his career after spending his first two seasons with the University of Southern California.

239/249/207 – Georgia had rushing totals (239) and passing totals (249) more than what Marshall had in both categories combined (207).
