Georgia's 2026 class adds most June commits in Kirby Smart era

With the turn of the month, the revenue-sharing era of college football officially begins. It also brings a very eventful month on the recruiting trail for the Georgia Bulldogs to an end.
In addition to hosting hundreds of recruits on campus for the first three weekends of the month, they added 15 commits to their No. 1-ranked 2026 recruiting class, in addition to the pair of commits they added in the 2027 class.
June has always been one of the most critical months on the recruiting calendar, especially over the past few years, as schools host dozens of rising high school seniors on official visits before many of them make decisions in the weeks that follow.
Yet, for Georgia, this year’s June was like no other in the Kirby Smart era. Their tally of 15 commits in 2026 is the most the program has added in June of a single class. Before the 2026 class, the most they added in the month was seven commits, which just so happens to be the 2025 class.
Last cycle, June saw them land Zayden Walker (four-star), Todd Robinson (three-star), Talyn Taylor (four-star), Isaiah Gibson (five-star), Dontrell Glover (four-star), Tyler Williams (four-star), and Landon Roldan (three-star).
This run of commits has seemingly been an upward trend over the past three cycles. In the 2024 class, they added six commits, which outdid 2023, where they landed four.
With now under six months to go until early signing day, Georgia will now work on trying to hold onto its 26 commits and add a few more.
Georgia’s June was capped off with nine commits in the final nine days of the month.
