2027 LB Minikon Johnson decommits from West Virginia

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Bishop Canvein 2027 linebacker Minikon Johnson has decommitted from the West Virginia football program.
Johnson, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, committed to the Mountaineers in June only a few weeks after receiving a scholarship offer from the Big 12 Conference program.
The Rivals three-star recently added an offer from Penn State and cited that he did not want to speak with other programs while being committed so backed off his pledge.
“West Virginia was the first school to show me love and give me an opportunity to represent their program,” he wrote.
The Mountaineers have one commitment in the 2027 class.
