The first step in the all-star game process is here, and a handful of Mountaineers are already on the radar.

Eight West Virginia players have been named to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000, a list that highlights draft-eligible prospects being tracked for the 2026 game and NFL Draft. The group was put together with input from both NFL and college personnel as part of the early scouting process.

Here’s a look at the WVU players who made the cut

The Shrine Bowl is one of the top college all-star events and gives players a chance to be coached by NFL staff in an NFL setting. This year’s game is set for January 27, 2026, at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with kickoff at 7:00 PM ET.

Being included doesn’t guarantee an invite, but it does mean these players are officially on the radar for scouts moving forward.
