Former WVU guards Small, Stevenson make impact in NBA Summer League wins

A pair of former West Virginia guards hit the floor in NBA Summer League games on Saturday, both helping their teams collect wins.
Javon Small played 19 minutes for the Memphis Grizzlies, finishing with four points on 2-for-6 shooting. He added six assists and was +8 for the game as the Grizzlies rolled past Oklahoma City, 92-80.
Meanwhile, Erik Stevenson turned in a strong outing for the Miami Heat. Stevenson had 16 points in 23 minutes, going 4-for-4 from three and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists. His Heat team defeated the Spurs 82-69, and he posted a game-high +18.
