Eight former West Virginia football players were active and one saw a bye week in the NFL’s Week 6 slate. Here is a breakdown of how they performed and were graded by PFF.

Around the league

Rasul Douglas, CB

With an impressive Week 6 performance, Douglas solidified himself as the top graded defensive player on the Miami Dolphins through six games. This week, he allowed three catches for only 14 yards. He forced a fumble on six tackles in a 29-27 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers.

This season, Douglas is currently the fifth-highest graded coverage cornerback in the league at 83.1.

Colton McKivitz, T

McKivitz maintained his stellar play, anchoring the San Francisco 49ers’ offensive line. In all 69 snaps, he allowed a single pressure on quarterback Mac Jones. His highest-rated grade of the week was in the run game (82.9) in a 30-19 loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Geno Smith, QB

The Las Vegas Raiders snapped their four-game losing streak behind Smith’s performance, where he went 17-for-23 passing for 174 yards with a touchdown and an interception each.

This season, Smith leads the league with 10 interceptions. Week 3 was the only week Smith did not throw an interception in a loss against the Washington Commanders.

Zach Frazier, C

Playing in all 56 offensive snaps as the Pittsburgh Steelers center, Frazier gave quarterback Aaron Rodgers time to throw, not allowing a single pressure. Frazier paved the way for a 235-yard total passing attack in a 23-9 win against the Cleveland Browns.

Dante Stills, DT

With the Arizona Cardinals, Stills saw a large increase in tackling than in the last three weeks. In the last three games, Stills averaged a 29.1 tackling grade, but this week, with four tackles, his grade shot up to 72.8.

He played in 39 snaps, split between defensive tackle (19) and end (20) in a 31-27 loss against the Indianapolis Colts.

Rex Sunahara, LS

Nothing went well for the Browns in their loss at Pittsburgh, but even with the lack of offense, Sunahara saw his second-lowest snap count of the season at seven. He was called on for four punts and three kick attempts.

David Sills V, WR

On Monday Night Football, Sills saw his highest snap count of the season at 31. He did not see a target as he was used predominantly as a blocker. As a member of the Atlanta Falcons, he saw a 24-14 win against the Buffalo Bills.

Wyatt Milum, G

For the first time in Milum’s NFL career, he was on the active roster after being ruled inactive the first five weeks of the season with a knee injury. He did not record a snap for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 20-12 loss against the Seattle Seahawks.

Austin Brinkman, LS

The Houston Texans’ long snapper took part in his first bye week of his NFL career. So far in his rookie campaign, he’s averaged a 61.2 grade in 40 total snaps.
