How former Mountaineers performed in NFL Week 4

Eight former West Virginia football players suited up in the NFL’s Week 4 slate, with one on the inactive list. Here is a breakdown of how they played and their PFF grades. 

Colton McKivitz, T

McKivitz led the San Francisco 49ers’ blocking scheme for the second week in a row with a 77.1 grade. He played in all 66 snaps, allowing two pressures and hurries en route to a 26-21 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Zach Frazier, C

Frazier crossed the Atlantic Ocean to play with the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland. He did not allow a single pressure on quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and performed highly in the run game, gaining 131 yards on the ground in a 24-21 win.  

Rasul Douglas, CB

Douglas saw another strong performance in a 27-21 Miami Dolphins win against the New York Jets. He was the top-ranked defender on the Dolphins with an 85.8 grade. He played in 62 snaps, allowing two receptions on four attempts for 28 yards, while recording two tackles and a sack. 

Geno Smith, QB

With the Las Vegas Raiders, Smith saw his worst performance of the season. He completed 14-of-21 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns, but threw three interceptions. His play led to a 25-24 loss against the Chicago Bears. 

Dante Stills, DT

In the Arizona Cardinals’ 23-20 loss against the Seattle Seahawks, Stills saw 33 snaps for a 51.1 grade. He recorded one tackle, assisting on two and delivered three quarterback hurries.  

David Sills V, WR

As the Atlanta Falcons returned Darnell Mooney, Sills did not see any offensive snaps compared to his 16 last week. He did record two snaps on punt returns, not touching the ball. He worked a 60.0 grade through blocks in a 34-27 win against the Washington Commanders. 

Rex Sunahara, LS

The Cleveland Browns struggled to move the ball on offense against the Detroit Lions in a 34-10 loss. Sunahara saw action with seven punts and three kick attempts. 

Austin Brinkman, LS

In the Houston Texans’ 26-0 win against the Tennessee Titans, Brinkman was called on to snap for eight snaps, three punts and five kick attempts. 

Wyatt Milum, G

For the fourth consecutive week, Milum is out with a knee injury with the Jaguars, still awaiting his NFL debut.
