Javon Small signs two-way deal with Grizzlies

Former West Virginia guard Javon Small has signed a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, who drafted him 48th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A two-way deal lets a player split time between the NBA team and its G League affiliate, giving teams flexibility and players a shot to develop at both levels.
Small averaged 18.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in his senior season at WVU, earning All-Big 12 First Team honors. He shot 88.0 percent from the free throw line last year.
The 6-foot-1 Indiana native previously played at Oklahoma State and East Carolina before transferring to Morgantown.
