The West Virginia football program has added another major junior college addition from Hutchinson (Kan.) 2026 defensive lineman Darius Wiley.

Wiley, 6-foot-7, 250-pounds, picked the Mountaineers over offers from Michigan State, Arkansas, Syracuse, Purdue, Boise State, Memphis, Jacksonville State, Old Dominion, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Western Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, Coastal Carolina and a number of other offers.

Wiley took an official visit to Morgantown Nov. 21-23 and the Mountaineers emerged as a serious contender in his recruitment; he also took official visits to Purdue and Michigan State.

Wiley is coming off a monster season at Hutchinson where he was named the KJCCC Defensive Player of the Year with 49 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.

The Elizabethtown, Kentucky native redshirted in his first season and will have three years left in Morgantown.

Wiley is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.

Wiley is the fourth addition from Hutchinson in this cycle joining defensive lineman KJ Henson, 2026 cornerback Da’Mun Allen and 2026 cornerback Rayshawn Reynolds.

WVSports.com will have more with Wiley in the near future.
