JUCO WR Kedrick Triplett commits to West Virginia
West Virginia has added some more speed to the roster with a commitment from Pearl River C.C. (Miss.) 2026 wide receiver Kedrick Triplett.
Triplett, 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, picked the Mountaineers over offers from Utah, Arkansas, Nevada, Liberty, Texas State, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech and more.
Inside wide receivers coach Logan Bradley served as the lead recruiter for Triplett and developed a close relationship with him since first extending a scholarship Sept. 8. The junior college pass catcher would then take an official visit over the weekend and that was enough to secure his pledge.
The Mountaineers are targeting Triplett as an inside wide receiver that could potentially play multiple positions in the offense given his size and speed.
Triplett, who is originally from Alabama, has three years remaining in his college career and gives the Mountaineers another dynamic option from the slot. He has collected 25 catches for 399 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season including two 100-yard receiving games.
He is set to graduate in December and enroll at the mid-term.
Triplett becomes the 30th commitment for West Virginia in the 2026 class.
