West Virginia is set to hit the road to take on Ohio in the second game of the season. The Mountaineers and Bobcats have met 17 times over their history and we look at the trends.

–Despite the proximity, the two teams have only met four times since 1980. The Mountaineers are 4-0 in those games with each played in Morgantown.

–Ohio is 2-0 in the two games played in Athens. That includes a 17-7 win in 1949 and 12-0 win in 1897.

–Of the 17 total games, all but four were played before 1950.
