Mountaineers land 2027 commit LHP Nolan Wilson

West Virginia baseball continues building for the future with a commitment from 2027 left-handed pitcher Nolan Wilson out of Upper Saint Clair, PA.
Wilson, who is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, is a lefty on the mound and at the plate. He’s shown a fastball that touches 88.5 mph and sits in the 86–87 range, along with a full mix that includes a changeup, curveball, and slider.
Here’s a quick look at his pitching metrics:
- Fastball: 86–87 mph (T88.5), 2374 spin rate
- Changeup: 74–77 mph, 2176 spin
- Curveball: 71.2–74.3 mph, 1761 spin
- Slider: 72–74 mph, 2061 spin
Wilson adds another talented arm for the Mountaineers and gives the coaching staff a long-term piece to develop in the years ahead.
