OL Robby Martin expected to enter the transfer portal
West Virginia offensive lineman Robby Martin is set to enter the transfer portal.
Max Olson was first to report the news citing Martin’s agency APSportsAgency.
“First, I want to thank God for putting me in this position, and I always want to thank my family for always having my back and supporting me. I’m grateful for the relationships I made at WV and the teammates that always supported me. With that being said, I’m entering the transfer portal with three years of eligibility,” Martin wrote in a statement.
Martin, 6-foot-3, 302-pounds, spent only one season with the Mountaineers where he appeared in one game after transferring into the program this past off-season from N.C. State.
The Huntington native played in one game for the Wolfpack and playing interior offensive line for the Mountaineers. Martin earned first-team all-state honors during his time at Huntington.
Martin has three years of eligibility remaining.
