Report: Jahiem White expected to be out for the season

West Virginia junior running back Jahiem White is expected to be out for the remainder of the season according to a report.
The news was first reported by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
White, 5-foot-7, 190-pounds, was injured on a tackle against Ohio which forced him from the game. He was later carted off the field due to the injury from the sidelines.
After the game, head coach Rich Rodriguez said that he hadn’t talked with the medical staff yet but acknowledged that it didn’t look good from the sidelines.
The running back was the leading returning rusher for the Mountaineers from 2024 with 845 yards and 7 touchdowns and had compiled 133 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 24 carries in 2025. He was expected to be a major piece of the offense but now the Mountaineers will need to replace him.
