West Virginia and Wake Forest are nearing an agreement which would have the Mountaineers and Deamon Decons play at a neutral site for two years, Jon Rothstein reported.

The first game would begin this season according to the report, while the return game would come in the 2026-2027 season. Rothstein added this year’s game will likely be at a neutral site in West Virginia, while the return game would be in Greensboro, North Carolina.

WVU is entering its first season under new head coach Ross Hodge, while Wake Forest went 21-11 and 13-7 in ACC play last season.
