Rich Rodriguez: Diore Hubbard to miss rest of season
West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez announced on his weekly radio show that redshirt freshman running back Diore Hubbard will miss the remainder of the season.
Hubbard had rushed for 335 yards and 4 touchdowns while hauling in 16 catches for 156 yards.
“Diore Hubbard is out for the year,” Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez said that should put Cyncir Bowers and Curtis Jones into focus for more playing time.
Hubbard joins Jahiem White and Tye Edwards as running backs that are out for the season.
“It’s just been one of those crazy years,” Rodriguez said.
