Rich Rodriguez offers update on Jahiem White and Jaden Bray

Two of the key players on the West Virginia roster in running back Jahiem White and wide receiver Jaden Bray were lost for the season in the Ohio game.
Head coach Rich Rodriguez provided an update on his weekly radio show.
Both players have had successful surgery after being injured against the Bobcats. White sustained a knee injury, while Bray dealt with the same type of foot injury that cost him the majority of last season.
“Jaden had a similar injury I think before, so this was kind of fixing that one up and Jahiem’s surgery he just got back. He had an appointment last week to check on that. He seems to be doing good, too,” Rodriguez said.
White had 24 carries for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns along with 3 catches for 15 yards, while Bray had 7 catches for 95 yards this season prior to being sidelined.
Both players have been in Morgantown and around the team.
“Those guys are around every day and obviously, we miss them. And it’s almost hard for them, if I was them too, it’s hard to stand there and watch and not play but they want to be around their teammates,” he said.
Rodriguez said that both players should be able to get this year back and will be able to roll in the spring.
