It’s no secret that West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez puts a lot on the plate of his quarterbacks within the offense. That’s because on top of their responsibilities, there aren’t really any mental breaks for the players at the position on any given play. For example, on a run play, many would tend to think the responsibility solely lies in handing the ball off to a running back, but for Rodriguez, there are many decisions in that lone example.
