Scotty Fox, QB
Fox only played a total of 3 snaps, but made his impact felt, leading the Mountaineers on a touchdown drive capped off by a 59-yard run by the true freshman quarterback. He also completed an 8-yard pass.
Chris Fileppo, S
Fileppo played the most snaps of any true freshman in the opener and responded with a tackle.
Julien Horton, S
Cam Torbor, LB
Horton only saw a total of three snaps but did record a tackle. The same can be said for Torbor at the linebacker position.
