West Virginia wanted to address the running back position in the 2026 recruiting class and already had one major piece in the fold in Georgetown (Texas) athlete Jett Walker.  But now the program has a complement in Memphis (Tn.) Whitehaven 2026 running back Christopher Talley after picking the Mountaineers over fellow finalists Georgia Tech and Cincinnati.
