Takeaways from West Virginia’s snap counts
West Virginia once again shortened their rotations at each of the spots on both sides of the ball. The Mountaineers did play three quarterbacks, while the wide receiver primarily featured a three-man rotation with some others sprinkled into the mix. The offensive line also included more than just five players who played against Ohio, with several of those coming in the heavy package.
On defense, the Mountaineers used more of their bandits in this game and also played a lot of players at the safety spot, although it was also more of a three-man rotation.
