West Virginia has landed another key commitment with a pledge from Dallas (N.C.) Ashbrook 2026 linebacker Caleb Gordon.

Gordon, 6-foot-0, 215-pounds, had narrowed his list down to West Virginia and Virginia prior to announcing his choice for the Mountaineers Monday night.

Gordon was previously committed to Arkansas but opened his recruitment in September.

The Rivals three-star took an official visit for the Colorado game and gives the Mountaineers an athletic linebacker in the 2026 cycle. Defensive coordinator Zac Alley as well as Andrew Warwick served as key points of contact for Gordon.

Gordon becomes the 32nd commitment for West Virginia in the 2026 recruiting class.
