West Virginia offers 2026 four-star center Aliou Dioum

West Virginia has extended a scholarship offer to 2026 center Aliou Dioum, continuing to build out its recruiting board under head coach Ross Hodge.
Dioum, a 6-foot-10, 200-pound prospect from CIA Bella Vista Prep in Denver, is ranked No. 88 overall in the Rivals150 for his class and checks in as the No. 11 center nationally. Known for his high motor and defense, Dioum has put together a strong resume with Team Melo on the Nike EYBL circuit, averaging 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game at Peach Jam.
Rivals national analyst Jamie Shaw had a chance to review his game and came away impressed:
“4-star C Aliou Dioum showcased some intriguing athletic burst. Whether it was a blocked shot, a rotation, or a thunderous dunk, the lengthy 6-foot-10 big man affected play around the rim. Dioum is still raw on the offensive end, but he plays with a motor and plays within himself. He also comfortably stepped into a three and did some things over his left shoulder on the block.”
Dioum holds offers from Illinois, Kansas, Syracuse, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, and others. He’s mentioned the importance of finding a program where he can contribute early, regardless of conference or name value.
