West Virginia wide receiver Jaden Bray is looking to make the most of this coming season.

It’s not hard to see why, after Bray was limited to just 116 snaps across five games.

That was due to a lower leg injury that occurred late in the game against his former team, Oklahoma State, and kept him out for the remainder of the year.

“The West Virginia medical staff did a great job rehabbing me during the whole process and making sure I was doing good and all healthy before I stepped back on the field,” he said.

It was difficult for Bray who finished with just 2 catches for 88 yards during his time on the field. But now, with a clean bill of health and a productive spring, he made the trip to Big 12 Media Days to represent the Mountaineers.

“He could be one of our top wideouts,” head coach Rich Rodriguez said.

And while Bray of course has lofty goals, the most important to him is rather simple.

“Just to play a full season and just be out there with my guys,” he said. “That’s all I really want to do.”

Now a redshirt senior, Bray is looking to build on the resume that he began with the Cowboys and believes that the changes to the new look West Virginia offense fits him well.

“Coming off last year we were a little more NFL style, under center type of offense but this year we’re super fast paced,” he said. “I’m kind of used to it because it was something I was under at Oklahoma State. We were kind of like a fast-tempo offense.”

Bray is one of the few returning pieces on the West Virginia offense and is hoping to make his mark in his final season at the college football level.
