WVU announces 2025-26 men’s basketball nonconference schedule
West Virginia men’s basketball has released its 2025-26 nonconference slate, featuring nine regular-season games and an exhibition at the WVU Coliseum.
The Mountaineers open Nov. 4 against Mount St. Mary’s, followed by Campbell (Nov. 6) and Lehigh (Nov. 9). Pitt visits for the Backyard Brawl on Nov. 13, before Lafayette rounds out the early homestand on Nov. 17.
WVU heads to the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic (Nov. 21, 23) to face Clemson, then Georgia or Xavier. The team returns home Nov. 30 vs. Mercyhurst and Dec. 3 vs. Coppin State, before a neutral-site matchup with Wake Forest in Charleston on Dec. 6.
The Mountaineers host Little Rock on Dec. 9, face Ohio State in Cleveland on Dec. 13, and wrap nonconference play Dec. 22 vs. Mississippi Valley State.
An exhibition against Wheeling is set for Oct. 26. The Big 12 schedule will follow, with home games against Baylor, BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech, UCF and Utah.
