West Virginia guard Honor Huff joined the latest episode of College Talk with Olly Reed Sports to share his journey and outlook for the upcoming season.

Huff talked about his path from VMI to Chattanooga and now Morgantown, noting how he’s always carried the feeling of being overlooked. Despite leading the nation in three-pointers, he said that the chip on his shoulder still drives him.

He also discussed the transition to playing under coach Ross Hodge, stressing the shift from an offense-first system at Chattanooga to a defense-focused approach at WVU. Huff praised the staff’s consistency during his recruitment and said that daily conversations with the coaches made the difference in his decision.

Looking ahead, Huff said his main goals are to help West Virginia reach the NCAA Tournament and compete for a Big 12 championship. Personally, he’d like to build on his reputation as one of the nation’s best shooters while improving as a playmaker for his teammates.

Off the court, Huff emphasized wanting to be remembered as a positive influence on his community and teammates, living up to the name his parents gave him, Honor.
