West Virginia running back Jahiem White has been named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List, which is presented annually to the nation’s top running back by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum.

It’s the third national watch list recognition in as many weeks for White, who was also named to the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year watch lists.

White led the Mountaineers in rushing last season with 844 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding 122 receiving yards and another score. He owns the WVU single-season record for yards per carry (7.7), set as a freshman in 2023.

Through two seasons, White has appeared in 25 games with 14 starts and heads into 2025 as one of the Big 12’s most explosive offensive weapons.
