All-American outfielder Dakota Kennedy joins Arkansas

Outfielder Dakota Kennedy is joining Arkansas after three seasons at Arizona. Kennedy, a two-time All-American, started nearly 150 games for the Wildcats, getting better each season. She brings a career average of .398, 26 doubles, six triples, five home runs and 92 RBIs to Fayetteville.
Kennedy has hit toward the top of the lineup for Arizona because of her ability to reach base at a high level, walking a lot, and hardly striking out. She had double-digit home runs her first two seasons in Tucson, but was hampered by an early-season injury. However, she still managed to match her career-high in doubles (10) and set a new best with four triples.
