Belmont All-American Maya Johnson enters transfer portal
The 2025 NCAA strikeout leader had entered the transfer portal. Belmont ace Maya Johnson will be on the free market with one year of eligibility remaining.
Johnson, a Softball America All-American, led Belmont to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. The lefty had a 1.52 ERA with a 24-6 record and 366 strikeouts with wins over Arizona State and Georgia Tech. Johnson expects to have major interest from Power Four teams.
