DII Player of the Year Emilee Boyer Joins Ole Miss

Former West Texas A&M superstar and two-way Player, Emilee Boyer, announced that she will be joining Ole Miss for her senior season. This past season, Boyer was part of a strong offensive lineup. She hit .470 with 22 home runs and 92 RBIs while going 28-4 with a 2.40 ERA in the circle. Additionally, this year she was also a defensive gem. She owned a .995 fielding percentage with only one error. She will be the eighth member of the Rebels’ transfer portal class.
Boyer made a significant jump in terms of being an improved hitter for average from her sophomore to junior year. She increased her batting average by a clip of .146, from .324 to .470. This also paved the way for her power numbers to improve. That improvement helped spearhead West Texas A&M to a 56-win season that eventually ended in the Super Regionals. For her contributions, she was named the DII Player of the Year.
As a freshman in 2023, Boyer was named the Lonestar Conference Freshman of the Year and was also an honorable mention for D2CCA All-American. In 2024, she was a D2CCA First Team All-American, D2CCA First Team All-Region, and 2024 First Team All-Lone Star Conference

Boyer has experience as the best player in the Division II ranks and will join a Rebels team that had a big roster turnover, which will allow her the opportunity to contribute in 2026.
