UCLA apparently liked what they saw when they placed Soo-Jin Berry. The California native committed to joining the Bruin Bubble on Thursday.

Berry flashed during her freshman season before an injury derailed her season. She jumped right back last year, hitting .335 with 11 doubles, nine home runs and 33 RBIs. Berry could easily slide in at second base following Savannah Pola’s graduation. She could also play shortstop if there are any setbacks with Aleena Garcia‘s injury, who should be back next season.
