Former Ole Miss pitcher Miali Guachino headed to Oklahoma

After spending her freshman season at Ole Miss, Miali Guachino will be staying in the SEC. The rising sophomore right-handed pitcher has committed to Oklahoma.
Guachino joins what is now a very deep pitching staff in Norman. Oklahoma already added LSU transfer Sydney Berzon. They have three pitchers originally from their 2025 recruiting class; Sophia Bordi (reclassified to 2024 and redshirted last season), Allyssa Parker and Berkley Zache coming into the fold. What Oklahoma is getting in transfer Sydney Berzon
Guachino finished the season with a 3.43 ERA and a 16-11 record as well as four saves. She struck out 172 batters compared to 81 walks. Guachino also set the program’s single-game strikeout record with 19 Ks against Southern Miss back in February. She struggled during the second half of the season, but pitching coach Jen Rocha could be a big part in her getting back to the pitcher that was very good early in 2025.
