Former San Diego State pitcher Cece Cellura commits to LSU

LSU has landed San Diego State transfer pitcher Cece Cellura on Monday. Cellura, a rising junior, was the ace of the Aztec staff. She had a 19-9 record, three saves with a 2.28 ERA over 153.2 innings.
According to our friends at 64Analytics, she had 4.28 (SIERA) Skill-Interactive Earned Run Average: A statistic that attempts to measure the underlying skill of a pitcher. Cellura is primarily a dropballer, which will be paired with Jayden Heavener and help alleviate the loss of Sydney Berzon.
