Kentucky has been no stranger to two-way players and Courtney Norwood fits right in. The in-state four-star committed to the Wildcats program on Sunday.

“Kentucky stood out to me because I love all the coaches and players,” Norwood said. “At Kentucky, the team has really great team chemistry, and I wanted to be a part of that. It’s always been my dream to be a Kentucky Wildcat and I can’t wait to be a part of the BBN.”

Norwood is from South Warren in Bowling Green and plays her travel ball with Louisville Sluggers Huecker/Norwood. She is Efficient and accurate. Courtney is 6′ tall and throws in the mid-60s. Her rise and change keep batters off balance and then mix in backdoor and regular curve.

“Courtney Norwood is as special as they come! Kentucky got a great one with this commit. So dominant in the circle against the best hitters,” said Jim Huecker, coach of Louisville Sluggers Huecker/Norwood. “Courtney has elite movement with pinpoint location on every pitch that comes out of her hand! So fun to coach and the best teammate.”
