Alabama has another talented arm headed to Tuscaloosa. Four-star two-way Lyla Morici announced her commitment to the Tide on Tuesday.

“I chose Alabama because of its great tradition, family atmosphere, and its consistent winning culture! I have a chance to play for the best against the best,” Morici said.

The star from the MoJo Ramsey/Fisher organization hails from Marietta, Georgia. She also had strong interest from Clemson, Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech. Morici joins four-star outfielder Morgan Waln in Alabama’s 2027 class.

Morici has the potential to be a two-way player, can contribute solid RBI numbers at the plate, and quality innings on the mound. She has the ability to overpower a hitter’s swing with deceptive late break and change of speed.
