Tennessee has found its arm for the 2027 class. Five-star two-way Kaylee Hodges announced her commitment to the Lady Vols on Thursday.

Hodges is the player whose stock skyrocketed the most in the 2027 class this summer. Hodges guided her Team NC squad to an Elite Eight finish at the 16U Tier Alliance National Championship. The Virginia product also took visits to LSU, Arkansas and Alabama.

Hodges is one of the premier two-way players in the class. She has consistent command on the mound with her ability to utilize a deceptive combination of her velocity and change of speeds. Her spin is elite and still shows room to grow in her game. Hodges can drive the ball for power. She has demonstrated her ability to step up in big moments and has the potential to be a significant contributor to an offensive lineup.

Tennessee has now risen into the Top 10 of the team rankings.
